I've never really loved Valentine's Day....I've mainly celebrated it as "Singles Awareness Day" for the last ump-teen years of my life...:) At work, we make "Happy VD" cakes (I think you know what that is)....however, since this is my first Valentine's Day as a married lady :) :)....I got excited! We started our day out with heart shaped cinnamon rolls....cut into shape with that sweet little red heart next to the plate...
Then we opened gifts! (It's like Christmas morning all over again!!)
Matt has been wanting a North Face jacket for a while...and well...they had a good sale...so Happy Valentine's Day!!
He also got a bucket of jolly ranchers and wint-o-green mints that he loves to have in his office for...well, himself...but others, too :)
Our sweet Valentines Day Dot-ter....such a sweet puppy we have!
Matt was very sweet and got me two VERY thoughtful gifts...I've been wanting this bag since last November, but would never buy it for myself...but he found it on sale and got it for me!! Also, I haven't been able to find my rainbows since my roomie's moved out last July...so, Matt got me a new pair of those, too....perfect. I LOVE those flip flops. I wear them all summer and spring.
And Matt cooked us a fabulous dinner....he's such a wonderful cook - he makes the most delicious meals! He often comes into the kitchen when I'm cooking to "see how it's going"....:) I don't mind a "supervisor" as I call him...he's amazing and I love having him near me as often as possible :)
Your business.
(I just wanted to remember this)...
The fabulous dinner.
Now, don't think for a minute all of this was consumed...well, maybe the wine was...don't judge me :)
I love this man :) My best valentine ever. Thank you, Lord!
